As the CEO and Founder of Shandell C. George & Associates, PLLC, it is my mission and pleasure to help you secure a future for your loved ones or build the business of your dreams.

My legal experience is vast. Over the years, I have worked for the prosecutor's office and the public defender's office, as well as an independent contractor for various attorneys. During this time, I also worked for business entities, such as: government agencies, profit and non-profit entities (Vice President of a non-profit for over 15 years) and a Fortune 500 company.  My work consisted of, for the most part, standing up programs, conducting internal audits of finances or processes and procedures, ensuring compliance, liaising with their legal departments – I was a "fixer.”

The myriad of work experience I have accumulated led to a desire to build my own firm.  My firm would focus on two specific areas of expertise: Estate Planning and Business Planning. 

After witnessing multiple tragedies within my own family, I have seen the heartache of children left parentless, without a plan or financial security.  While raising three children on my own, my deepest fear – what drove me to pursue a career in law – was the thought, “what would happen to my children if something happened to me?” A passion to protect my family became the catalyst to helping others protect their loved ones, and keep them out of court and conflict when tragedy strikes.

Estate planning is typically overwhelming for those not aware of their options, and many often overlook it due to busyness of life and pure lack of knowledge.  That is where I come in.  I assess your specific situation and lay out your options, explaining each step, so that you have the optimum plan for your family.

With regard to your business planning needs, I am a holistic business advisor.  With an extensive background in business, and having started a non-profit business, I have the experience needed to give you peace of mind that your business commenced properly, and is on the right track for growth and prosperity.  It is my joy to help you design, implement, and maintain effective plans to help you reduce your liability, minimize taxes, retain key employees, facilitate your retirement and maintain family harmony.

This firm is set apart because I take the time to listen to your story, hear what matters most to you and formulate a plan of action.  My heart is for people and families, especially children, and seeing to it that spiritual, tangible and monetary legacies are left for loved ones.  Rather than taking a “one size fits all” approach with my clients, or trying to work with as many people as possible in a short time, I see to it that my clients’ plans are a tailored solely to their specific needs.
